The Porter’s Chapel Academy girls basketball team demolished Union Christian Thursday in an easy 72-36 win.

Yakia Burns almost outscored Union Christian on her own, finishing with 34 points on the night. She also grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Lady Eagles controlled the game all night with many of their players stepping up to contribute, including Tiara Sims who managed to score 20 points. Teammate Zy Smith added 7 points to the board.

Sophie Masterson finished with 3 points, while Olivia Masterson, Raegan Thornell and Macey Bufkin all scored 2 points on the night.

The Porter’s Chapel Academy girls basketball team, the Lady Eagles will be back in action Friday at 6 p.m. to face Greenville Christian School at home.
