Pregnant 16-year-old shot and killed in Gulfport

A pregnant 16-year-old was shot and killed in Gulfport, Mississippi on Sunday.

Kamori Lake has been identified as the deceased by Harrison County Coroner Whitney Valles.

The shooting happened on the 4000 block of 32nd Street. 15-year-old Brenton Brumfield has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and homicide of an unborn child while 19-year-old Jamarrion Jackson and a 13-year-old and 17-year-old have been charged with one count of hindering the prosecution of another. Jackson’s bond has been set at $25,000.

Brumfield’s bond has been set at $500,000.
