Public food and mask distributions at noon today in Vicksburg
There will be a public food and mask distribution today at several locations throughout Vicksburg.
“In time for the holiday, we will have food boxes available at several public drive-thru locations today. We will be able to give one box of food per vehicle. We will also be able to give several masks per vehicle. We ask that everyone remains in their vehicle. Be blessed and be safe as we near the 4th of July Holiday! Let’s wear our masks!” announced District 3 Supervisor Shawn Jackson.
Distribution will begin at noon at the following sites:
- Kings Fire Station #9 – 323 Waltersville Street
- 61 South Fire Station #5
- Lee Road Fire Station
- Marcus Bottom
- Pleasant Valley MB Church – 260 Highway 27 (next to the cemetery)
- Bethel AME Church – 805 Monroe St. (across from Jefferson Funeral Home)
- Great Grove Street MB Church – 2715 Alcorn Drive
- Springs Hill MB Church – 815 Mission 66
