Rankin County tax assessor arrested and charged with rape

Rankin County tax assessor John Sullivan was arrested by the Attorney General’s office and charged with rape of a person over 16, reports the Darkhorse Press.

According to the report, the incident occurred in March after the Saint Paddy’s day parade. His bond has been set at $30,000.
