Raymond baseball team picked up two wins over Lanier on Friday

Raymond High School baseball team picked up two wins on Friday over Lanier.

The Rangers defeated Lanier 12-2.

Brandon Jones went perfect at the plate by going 3 for 3 with one RBI and for scores. Jackson Haney went 2 for 2 with one RBI. Caden Logan, Brandon Wilson, Carlton Davis, Quentavious Robinson and Matthew Steadham each collected a hit.

Raymond got a total of 10 hits in the victory.

Steadham pitched in the win for Raymond and out 10 batters.

The Rangers also crushed Lanier 15-0 on Friday in the big victory.

The Rangers finished with a total of nine hits.

Davis led at the plate by going 3 for 3 and one RBI.  Issac Ware and Jones contributed two RBIs each.

Jackson Haney struck out five batters in the win.
