Rising freshman Megan Theriot is ready to shine for St. Aloysius
Rising freshman Megan Theriot is ready for the 2023 St. Aloysius softball season which pops off on Friday.
“I’m feeling really good about it and we got some new players so a lot of good things are happening,” Theriot said.
Theriot started on varsity as an eighth grader in 2022 where she had a .309 batting average, 21 hits, nine RBIs and 19 runs. One of her best games was in a 16-5 win over Adams County Christian School where she had three hits, three RBIs and two runs.
Theriot helped the Lady Flashes to a 9-15 record last year but she has goals that consist of St. Al reaching new heights in 2022.
“We want to make the playoffs and win the championship and we have the players and coaching staff to do it,” Theriot added.
The Lady Flashes are set to take on Madison St. Joe on Friday night.
“I’m so excited for Friday and I’m going to keep my eye on the ball and not get in my head,” Theriot said.
Theriot is the sister of former St. Aloysius star athletes Ryan Theriot, Kieran Theriot and Elizabeth Theriot.
