River City Challenge to be held on Monday

The River City Challenge will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Vicksburg High School.

The basketball tournament will consist of seven basketball games between VHS, Warren Central, Choctaw Central, Center Hill, Lanier, Pearl, Brandon, Ruleville, Clinton, Pascagoula, Terry, Provine, Ridgeland and Forest Hill.

Games will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Lanier vs. Pearl.

Notable faces will return to Vicksburg such as Delvin Thompson who is the former Head Coach of St. Aloysius and Jefferson County. He is now the Head Coach of Choctaw Central who has recently defeated top teams such as Raymond and Northwest Rankin.

Former WC assistant coach Julius Cosby will also return as the new Head Coach of Center Hill.
