Arnissayur Robinson has been named as the new Warren Central High School head girl’s basketball coach.

Native of Bolton, Mississippi, Robinson attended Raymond High School before starring at Copiah-Lincoln CC where she was a part of the 2015 MACJC State Championship Team. She then moved on to play at Tougaloo College where she averaged 11.4 points per game.

Although Robinson dominated on the offensive side, she also earned First Team All-Defense Honors.

For the past five seasons, Robinson has been an assistant coach at Co-Lin. She now comes to the River City to take over the Lady Vikes basketball program, who advanced to the first round of the playoffs in 2022.

Robinson’s impressive resume shows that she is up for the task and she’ll get thing rolling soon with tryouts on May 4.
