Johnson has been an outstanding football player for Berlin since 2010 where he racked up over 120 tackles and 11 sacks in his rookie year. Since then, he has become quite the celebrity overseas after leading the Rebels to multiple winning seasons.

Before heading overseas, Johnson was a star football player(linebacker) at Vicksburg High School under head coach Alonzo Stevens. He was ranked as one of the top players in the state and was named as a Dandy Dozen heading into his senior year.

After graduating from VHS in 2004, Johnson went on to become an All-American at Hinds CC and eventually transferred to Ole Miss before spending a short time in the NFL(Green Bay, NY Giants) and the CFL(Edmonton Eskimos). The GFL is where he made a career out of football and he will continue living his dream with the Rebels as their new linebackers’ coach.

VDN will continue to keep up with Johnson’s success.
