Selby hit seven 3-pointers to lead PCA over Tri-County

Porter’s Chapel Academy boy’s basketball team earned a 72-66 win over Tri-County on Friday.

Lawson Selby popped the game off by with four three pointers in the first quarter to put PCA up 25-17. By halftime, PCA had a 40-32 lead after Selby hit three more 3-pointers along with Chase Hearn who knocked down one.

Noah Porter, Ty Mack and Taylor LaBarre all pitched in during the second half to secure the win for the Eagles.

Selby led with 31 points and 10 rebounds while Porter added 16 points with four assists. Mack grabbed 11 rebounds to go with his 12 points and LaBarre put up seven while Hearn ended with five.

PCA is now 14-5 on the year and are ranked as No. 2 seed in the district.
