Seven Vikings made the All-State Team

Seven members of the Warren Central High School football team were selected to the All-State Team.

First Team:

Zack Evans and Maddox Lynch were both selected to the Offensive First Team. Evans had 33 receptions, 589 receiving yards, eight receiving touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. He also caught one interception on defense.

Lynch, an aggressive blocking tight end, finished with 27 receptions, 346 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown, three rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns.

Linebacker Julien Demby and Garrett Orgas-Fisher made the Defensive First Team. Demby grabbed 117 tackles, five interceptions and three sacks.

Fisher had 89 tackles and four interceptions on the year as he dominated in the secondary.

Second Team:

Linemen Claude King and Beau Davis made the Offensive Second Team. Both athletes were instrumental in blocking for an offensive that had over 3,000 yards in 2023.

Ronnie Blossom had 88 tackles, two sacks and seven pass deflections from the defensive end position. He also had two rushing touchdowns and made the All-State Defensive Second Team.

WC went 9-3 under Head Coach Josh Morgan and won the District Championship in 2023.
