Silver Alert canceled for Hinds County woman

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has canceled a Silver Alert for 48-year-old Latonya Fletcher of Jackson, MS, in Hinds County. She has been located and is safe.

Earlier, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for Fletcher, stating she was last seen around 8:23 p.m. on Monday, walking in the 5300 block of I-55 South Frontage Road in Hinds County, walking south towards Byram.

The alert was canceled shortly after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
