Silver Alert cancelled for Jackson woman

UPDATE: This alert has been cancelled. Genesis Arielle Smith has been found and is safe.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 24-year-old Genesis Arielle Smith of Jackson, Miss., in Hinds County.
She is described as a black female, 4 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, in the 300 block of West Woodrow Wilson Drive in Hinds County.
Smith is believed to be in a 2014 Kia, gray in color, bearing MS license plate MAE7571. Her direction of travel is unknown.
Family members say Smith suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgement. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Genesis Arielle Smith, please contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234.
