Silver alert issued for Louisiana man
On behalf of the Louisiana State Police, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 81-year-old Welton “Wic” Pierce of Zachary, La., in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Pierce is a white male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with grey hair and hazel eyes.
He was last seen Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, between 8:30 and 9 a.m. wearing grey shorts and a blue short-sleeve shirt in the 6000 block of Old Scenic Highway in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Pierce is believed to be in a white 2002 GMC crew-cab pickup bearing a Louisiana tag of W144768. His direction is unknown.
Family members say Pierce suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgement.
