Simpson County inmate escapes while receiving medical treatment

Simpson County is searching for an inmate who escaped custody while receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

44-year-old Terry Bynum on Sunday from the Magee General Hospital Emergency Room on Sunday.

Simpson County Sheriff’s Office released a statement yesterday:

“We are asking for everyone to be on the lookout for Terry Bynum. He escaped  from custody while getting medical attention at Magee ER. Anyone who is caught with or giving assistance to Bynum will be charged accordingly.”
