Singleton and Moffett dominated for Raymond on Friday

Trent Singleton and K’Swaya Moffett, Jr. both led the Raymond High School football offense in a close 35-34 loss to Philadelphia on Friday.

Quarterback Singleton carried the ball 24 times for 140 yards and rushed for two touchdowns along with two 2-point conversions. He also threw for 10 for 19 with 92 passing yards and a touchdown.

Moffett rushed for 191 yards on 21 carries where he also scored two rushing touchdowns.

Both players also shined on August 27 in a 28-12 win over Newton where Singleton had three rushing touchdowns and Moffett returned a kick for a 70 yard touchdown.

The Rangers will be looking to bounce back under head coach Michael Fields this Friday when they take on Velma Jackson.
