St. Aloysius came in first place in Saturday’s swim meet and WC finished in first on the boy’s side

St. Aloysius came in overall first place in a swim meet on Saturday which featured Warren Central, Vicksburg, Murrah and Newton County High Schools. The Flashes finished with 110.50 points and WC finished with 100.

Girl’s meet:

The Lady Flashes got 62.50 points to finish in first place in front of WC who had 39 points. Katelyn Clark, Emily Cook, Bree Butler, Campbell McCoy were the winners of the girls 200 freestyle relay.

Boy’s meet:

The Vikings came in first place on the boy’s side by finishing with 61 points followed by the Flashes who finished with 48.

Vicksburg High School had seven swimmers who managed to steal points from both sides and finished with a total of 31.

Top points for individual events from all schools are:

  • Kara Rowe – VHS – 12 pts
  • Jon Daniel (JD) Busby – St. Al – 12 pts
  • Mateo Byrd – WC – 12 pts
  • Alex Rowe – VHS – 10 pts
  • Emily Cook – St. Al – 10 pts
  • Noah Jones – WC – 10 pts
