A tough first half helped lead to St. Aloysius to a 35-6 loss to Adams County Christian School on Friday.

The Rebels capitalized early in the first quarter. A 70-yard and and 49-yard touchdown run allowed the Rebels to take a 14-0 lead early in the game.

After the Flashes defense forced a fumble, quarterback Tristan Wilbanks connected with Chase Tucker for a short touchdown.

By halftime St. Aloysius was down 28-6 but came out strong defensively in the second half, allowing only one touchdown.

Cooper Madison grabbed a interception in his first game back from an injury and Stone Williams pulled in one and a half sacks.

The Flashes will be back home on Friday to face Cathedral.
