St. Aloysius Junior High softball team defeated Copiah Academy on Tuesday

The St. Aloysius Junior High School softball team edged out Copiah Academy on Tuesday with an 8-7 victory.

Presley Carr and Mallory Spencer each delivered singles, with Spencer also notching an RBI. Marley Gibellino, Scarlett Couch, and Mageigh Haller all smacked doubles, contributing two, one, and one RBI respectively.

Adalyn Lyons chipped in with an RBI, while Addie G. Clay crossed the plate twice. Kennadi Blassingame, Kay Rader, Haller, Couch, Carr, and Lyons each scored once.

In pitching, Spencer managed to strike out two batters.

The Lady Flashes are set to host Cathedral on Thursday.
