St. Aloysius stomp Park Place Christian Academy in doubleheader sweep

St. Aloysius baseball team cruised past Park Place Christian Academy on Monday in a 10-0 and 11-0 doubleheader win.

Connor Paxton was on the mound today for the Flashes as he allowed three hits and struck out six batters.

The Flashes started the game off hot as they racked up six run scores in the first inning.

Wes Warnock went 2 for 3 at the plate while also hitting a nice home run before the match was over. He also had one RBI.

Carter Magee, Tristan Wilbanks, Jake Bristler, Connor Gaul, Adam Francisco, and Warnock all had run scores on the night.

In game two, Matthew Pitre pitched the win for the Flashes and ended the game with six strikeouts.

Francisco led the team with four RBIs and three hits while teammate Brandon Steed went 2 for 3 at the plate. Wilbanks, Magee, and  Cole Autrey all had two RBIs a piece.

The Flashes will be back in action on Tuesday against Central Hinds at 6:00 p.m.
