St. Aloysius swim team won their meet on Saturday

St. Aloysius High School won their season opener swim meet on Saturday.

Listed below are some highlights from the event:

Elle Larson, Hendrix Elderidge, Olivia Busby and Clara Smith all came in third place in the 200 yard Medley Relay(12 points). Campbell McCoy, Blair Farrell, Katelyn Clark and Grace Edwards all came in fifth place with a time of 2:44.12

The boys finished with a time of 2:27.11 where Luke Larson, Jon Daniel Busby, Matthew Busby and Caleb Jones brought in six points.

Individual:

1. Clark-2nd place in 200 yard freestyle
2. M. Busby-1st place 200 yard freestyle(9 points)
3. O. Busby-1st place in the 200 yard medley(9 points). 1st place in the 100 yard freestyle.
4. Jon Daniel Busby-1st place in the 200 yard medley(9 points) with a 2:12.80 time. 1st place in the 100 yard breaststroke(9 points).
5. L. Larson-1st place in the 100 yard butterfly(1:01.63 and nine points).
6. Elle Larson-2nd place in the 100 yard freestyle(7 points).

The Lady Flashes came in first place in the 200 yard freestyle relay which consisted of O. Busby, McCoy, Clark and E.Larson. That win brought in 18 pound with a time of 2:06.38.

The boys finished in second place in the 200 yard freestyle where M. Busby, L. Larson, Jones and JD Busby brought in 14 points and a time of 1:45.44.
