St. Aloysius tennis team knocks off ACCS

The St. Aloysius tennis team quickly put away Adams County Christian 9-0 on Monday at the Halls Ferry Park.

The boys’ double that consisted of James Powell and Walker Lambiotte, won 6-0, 6-0. Ryan Davidson and Noah Taylor also won 6-1, 6-2.

In the girls’ singles, Hendrix Elderidge and Julia Tuminello both won 6-0,6-0 in their matches.The doubles consisted of Sarah Beth Johnston and Olivia Larsen winning 6-1, 6-0 while Carrie Woods and Ali Blackburn also won 6-0, 6-1.

Carter Smithhart and Laiken Leist won 6-4 and  10-7 and lost one 3-6.

In the boys’ singles, Caleb Stewart won 6-0, 6-1 and Walker Moore got a 6-0, 6-0 win.

The Flashes will travel to Madison St. Joe on Thursday.
