St. Aloysius to face Clinton Christian Academy on Thursday in their season opener

St. Aloysius boy’s basketball team will have their season opener on Thursday against Clinton Christian Academy under head coach Anthony Lumpkin Sr.

The Flashes will host their first game against the defending state champs with a bunch of new faces that are expected to make an impact on the team.

Padre Gray Jr, Matthew Pitre, and Corey Sims are the Flashes that are expected to give much trouble to the Warriors trouble tomorrow. Sims, Lazaveon Sylvester, Ahmad Stewart are transfers who will also make an impact on the team.

Gray was one of the county’s lead scorer last season as a sophomore when he was averaging 15 points per game.

St. Aloysius will play after the girl’s game at 7:30 p.m.
