Stay weather aware: Storms to hit Vicksburg this afternoon

The Warren County Emergency Service has predicted a storm system to arrive in the area this evening and continue overnight.

Weather threat:

Thunderstorms capable of producing hail, damaging winds and possibly tornadoes are expected to hit the area around 4 p.m. and carry threats of severe weather into Wednesday.

Through the rest of the week and into next week, west-central Mississippi may see areas of flash flooding.
