Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins was struck by a vehicle and killed on Saturday in South Florida.

Florida Highway Patrol released more information on the situation on Sunday.

Haskins was 24 years old at the time of his death and has been in the NFL since 2019 after starring at Ohio State University.
The death of Hawkins shocked the football world yesterday, and Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin issued a statement:
“I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins. Upon his arrival in Pittsburgh, he quickly became part of our Steelers family and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community.”
More information on Hawkins’s death will become available in the upcoming weeks.
