The Klondyke has Re-Opened!!!
]]>
After a couple of weeks of dealing with the Great Flood of 2011, which you can read about by clicking HERE, David & Rhonda Day would like LOVE to announce the fact that the historic Klondyke Trading Post is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!! That’s right… the water is gone, the clean-up is done and it’s back to business as usual… or rather un-usual if you’re familiar with the staff!!! (We love them dearly… even though they’re a little off.. :P)
You’ve got to check out the menu today… Pick your meat… Momma’s Meat Loaf (which is always wonderful), David’s specially formulated Country Fried Steak and the ever-present, mouth-watering Fried Chicken. Choose your sides to go with it… Corn, Baked Beans, Mashed Potatoes (with either Brown or Country Gravy), Mac & Cheese, Collards, Butter Beans or Tater Logs… And be sure to grab you a roll or some corn bread for sopping your plate. Finish your lunch off right with one of Tessa’s special cookies!!! As always, you can get one of their famous, fresh cooked hamburgers that’s loaded with everything you want!!! When you head down there (or up there, dependent on where you come from) be sure to tell Tessa, John, David & Rhonda that you’re happy to see them and you heard they were open from your mutual friends at Vicksburg Daily News!!! ]]]]> ]]>
