This Brilliant Capture by Darlene Davidson – Two Pileated Woodpeckers

Wildlife photographer Darlene Davidson had been trying for a very long time to capture the Pileated Woodpecker in an image.

Her efforts paid off and she caught not one, but two of the woodpeckers normally found in the Northeastern parts of North America. It is the second largest woodpecker in North America after the ivory-billed woodpecker.
