Three-star defensive lineman commits to Ole Miss

The University of Mississippi Rebels landed a three-star defensive lineman from the class of 2021 when Jibran Hawkins committed to the Rebels Friday.

Hawkins made the announcement in a six minute video posted on his Twitter page.

Hawkins plays for Discovery High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he is entering his senior year. He completed his 2019 junior season with 30 tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.

In addition to Ole Miss, Hawkins received offers from Mississippi State University, Memphis University and the University of Arkansas.
