Tom Brady is saying goodbye to the New England Patriots after a 20-year run with the team.

Brady made the announcement on Instagram that he will not return to the Patriots next season, but his football journey will continue somewhere else. Brady, 42, has mentioned on several occasions that he would like to play football until the age of 45.

In his Instagram post, Brady did not mention what team he was eyeing or expecting to sign with.

In two decades with the Patriots under head coach Bill Belichick, Brady won six Super Bowls and has created a legacy for himself as an NFL player. Since 2001, Brady has started in 41 playoff games and will surely go down as one of the best players to ever play the game.
