Trees and downed power lines are creating dangerous conditions

Vicksburg Daily News is receiving reports of trees and power lines down in several areas.

Hildegard Trace, near Grove, has a power line down beside the roadway, creating a hazardous condition in the area.

A house in the 1500 block of Jackson Street has sustained minor damage from falling tree debris.

As conditions continue to get worse, hazardous conditions around the home and roadways will only increase.  Please use caution if driving in inclement weather and avoid it if possible.
