Tua Tagovailoa is skipping his senior season at Alabama and will enter the NFL draft.

As a freshman in 2017, Tagovailoa was noticed when he stepped up in the BCS championship game against Georgia to help the Crimson Tide win the game after Jalen Hurts was benched.

In 2018, Tagovailoa became Alabama’s starting quarterback and has made a great impact on the team ever since. That season Tagovailoa helped Alabama reach another championship but suffered a loss to Clemson.

Tagovailoa suffered a hip injury a few weeks ago and  missed the last three games for Alabama.

Losing Tagovailoa will be a big loss to head coach Nick Saban and the Alabama football team as they will search for a replacement quarterback to lead the team next season.
