Two Alcorn State players invited to NFL HBCU Combine

SWAC Champion players Solomon Muhammad and De’Shawn Waller have been invited to the NFL Combine for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Both players recently finished their last season at Alcorn State University where they led the Braves to a 9-4 season and a SWAC Championship. Alcorn also won the SWAC Championship in its previous season.

Muhammad finished his senior season with 87 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles to help the Braves finish the season on top.

In 2018, Waller rushed for 1,215 yards and 12 touchdowns, and in his final season, he had 517 yards for the Braves.

The combine will be held on March 27 and 28 at the Miami Dolphins’ Baptist Health Training  Facility in Davie, Fla.
