Two-car shootout on Iowa Boulevard

A two-car shootout occurred on Iowa Boulevard at Highway 61 South on Sunday.

Numerous shots were fired from both vehicles and authorities were able to track one car on Hall Drive off Highway 61 South. When police arrived at the scene, two black males took off on foot in opposite directions but one was apprehended by the Vicksburg Police Department.

A short time later, a woman on Central Avenue reported that her boyfriend’s car was shot at and police are now at that location.
