Two convicted sex offenders were sentenced on Friday

Two convicted sex offenders, Harold Love and Carvis Purvis, pleaded guilty on Friday in Warren County Circuit Court for failure to register as sex offenders.

Love was sentenced to five years, with three years to serve in prison and an additional three years of post-release supervision. He is also required to pay a total of $1,627.50 in fines. Purvis received a five-year suspended sentence and is obligated to pay the same amount in fines, $1,627.50.

Both Love and Purvis will be required to continue their registration as sex offenders.

The sentences were handed down by Judge Toni Terrett.
