Two-vehicle accident with injuries at 61 North and Washington

Vicksburg Police and other first responders are on the scene at a two-vehicle accident with injuries at U.S. Highway 61 North at Washington Street in front of the Orbit gas station.

Three people are reportedly injured; however, the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3.

Traffic was moving smoothly, but please slow down and take care in the area and allow first responders to do their job safely.
