Tyler Henderson is now a state champion

Vicksburg High School track & field star Tyler Henderson is now a state champion.

“It feels amazing to win state and end my junior year on a good note,” Henderson said. I’m just thinking how hard I’ve worked to accomplish this because it was one of my highest milestones of my career.”

Henderson came in first place in the triple jump at the state meet by finishing at 46’9  on Wednesday. Last week he also came in first place by leaping 44 feet and five inches.

Henderson is coached by Shaun Archer and he is also a star football and basketball player.
