Hunters discovered unidentified human remains in Jefferson County over the weekend.
At 6:52 p.m. on Saturday, deer hunters on Rodney Road in Lorman, Mississippi, detected a foul odor. They soon found partially covered human remains. Both the Mississippi Crime Lab and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation came in to assist.
Since Jefferson County doesn’t have a missing person’s case, Sheriff James Bailey suggests that someone might have brought the body into the county.
