USM quarterback Jack Abraham transfers to Mississippi State University

The University of Southern Mississippi quarterback Jack Abraham has decided to transfer to play for Mike Leach at Mississippi State University.

Abraham made the announcement  on Twitter just before 6 p.m. Friday.

Abraham started for USM for the past couple of years under former head coach Jay Hopson. He has thrown for over 7,000 yards as the Golden Eagles quarterback.

Abraham opted out midway through the 2020 season after suffering from a concussion and COVID-19.
