VFD and Warren County Fire Service partnered for Show ‘N Tell

The Vicksburg and Warren County Fire Department partnered together on October 26 for Show-n-Tell at the Public Library.

Vicksburg Fire Department and the Warren County Fire Service stood shoulder to shoulder in Fire Prevention. Jeff Riggs of the Warren County Fire Service reported that firefighters from both departments partnered on the 26′ of October 2022 for a Show-n-Tell at the Warren County – Vicksburg Public Library, hosted by Children’s Librarian Marie Cunningham.

Mrs. Cunningham said, “the children learned about fire safety, and watched as firefighters put on their turn out gear, carried the fire hose, viewed fire trucks of both agencies, and toured the historical Central Fire Station.

Riggs said all of this was made possible by the excellent working relationship of the leadership of both departments.

“These agencies support each other in their personnel by cross-working and volunteering in each department for the overall safety of the city of Vicksburg and Warren County.”
