VFD responds to fire call at Warren County Jail

An inmate is reported to have set fire to a mattress within the Warren County Jail.

At around 11:45 a.m. a structure fire call at the Warren County Jail was received by Vicksburg-Warren 911.

According to sources, an inmate set fire to a mattress on the second floor within the facility. Vicksburg Fire Department quickly arrived on scene to address the fire.
