VHS and WC both had close matches on Wednesday

Vicksburg and Warren Central High School had close games Wednesday night as they fell short of a victory.

The Gators had a 58-57 loss to Walnut Grove where Davian Willams led with 17 points. Kameron Brown added 14 and Malik Franklin put up nine in the match.

The Vikings was led by Gaylon Turner who scored 19 in the 42-40 loss to Clarksdale. Taylor Mitchell scored in double digits as well by adding 11.

WC will travel to Clinton on Tuesday and VHS will host Callaway.
