VHS and WC take losses in basketball season openers

Warren Central and Vicksburg High School basketball teams both opened their season with losses on Tuesday.

VHS boys:

The Gators took a 68-62 loss to Germantown. Davian Willams scored 27 points after knocking down four 3-pointers. Kealon Bass also hit four 3-pointers and finishes the game with 20 points while Kam Bailey ended the night with 10.

Missy Gators:

Kierra James led the Missy Gators with nine points while Rodrianna Hall added eight in the 62-26 loss to Germantown.

Warren Central:

The boys took a 70-15 loss and the Lady Vikes fell short 68-6 against Germantown. Lindsay Adams led with four points.
