Vicksburg High School boys soccer team had a memorable night on Monday when they won their first game in two years after they defeated McLaurin 4-3.

“Honestly I’m proud because on Sunday we had practice and me and Coach McDonald incorporated some new things and they really went out and had fun,” first-year Head Coach Quadre Butler said.

Braylon Green had a great performance for the Gators by scoring three goals along with Cannon Jackson who had one goal.

Allan Allen came up with two assists and Casey Brown finished with one assist.

Monday’s victory marked the first win by the Gators since the 2020 season.
