VHS crushed Provine 13-3 on Tuesday

Vicksburg High School baseball team picked up a 13-3 district win on Tuesday against Provine.

The Rams got their three runs from errors but the Gators would quickly respond by getting six runs from errors to take the lead.

VHS would repeat the same action in the second inning and profit from Provine’s mistakes as they eventually went up by 10 runs.

Kearris Gilliam ended the night with two RBIs while Decedric Brown, Raymond Grey, Kaleb Doss and Mickell Jones all had two runs.

Cameron Myles struck out six batters and only allowed one hit.

VHS will travel to play Provine on Thursday.
