Vicksburg High School baseball team took down Provine 16-0 on Tuesday night.

Terrance Johnson got the first score on a passed ball. Connor Harrigill then singled on a fly ball that brought in two scores.

Before the first inning was done, Johnson would single on a line drive to help Vicksburg go up 8-0.

The Gators would have a big second inning where Tyler Carter and Rashad McCroy both hit home runs.

VHS finished with a total of nine hits as Harrigill went 3 for 3 while Johnson went 2 for 2 with three RBIs. DeCedric Brown, Mincer Minor IV, McCroy and Carter all finished with one hit.

Brown pitched a no-hitter as he struck out six batters.

The Gators record improves to 11-6 under head coach Antonio Calvin and they will host Provine on Thursday.
