VHS defeated Forest Hill twice on Thursday

Vicksburg High School baseball team knocked off Forest Hill in a double header 18-3 and 15-0.

The Gators got their first two scores from wild pitches then Decedric Brown singled on a line drive as Tyler Carter ran in the score.

VHS never let up on FH and continued to hit well and drive in scores. They finished with a team total of 11 hits.

Rashad McCroy went 3 for 3 at the plate as teammates Brown and Terrance Johnson got two hits and three RBIs. Carter and McCroy each had three run scores.

Brown allowed zero hits and struck out seven on the night.

Game two:

The Gators repeated their tough playing style in game two by getting eight scores in the first inning.

Connor Harrigill pitched in the win as he struck out five and allowed only one hit.

Kealon Bass went perfect at the plate by going 2 for 2 with three RBIs. Carter, Chris Green, and Johnson each got one hit.
