VHS freshman basketball team went 10-2 at Co-Lin

Vicksburg High School freshman boy’s basketball team came up with a 10-2 record at the Copiah-Lincoln Community College basketball camp this week.
Coming off a successful eighth grade season, the newly ninth graders had much success after dominating over most of their competition.
Head Coach Julius Williams led the Gators as he is fresh off a Little Six Championship Season.
Mincer Minor IV, Kristopher Washington, Dennis Battle Jr, Jokobie Smith, and Michael Johnson all averaged double figures throughout the 12 games which gives the team a good look for what the upcoming season will look like.
The Gators will continue play summer basketball and preparing for the season later this year where they will be fighting for a Little Six Championship.
