VHS freshman pitcher Green had a great performance on Thursday

Vicksburg High School baseball player Chris Green had an impressive game Thursday night against Center Hill.
The freshman pitcher struck out six batters in a 3-2 playoff loss. Green pitched six innings as his team worked to keep the score close.
Green has stepped up on plenty of occasions for VHS this season and is one of many freshmen who are starting on the varsity team. Green was also a part of the Little Six Championship basketball team this year, where he helped the team to an undefeated season.
VHS will be back in action Friday night as they travel to Center Hill for a rematch.
