Vicksburg High School sophomore Jana Colenburg led the Gators in points in the game Thursday.

Colenburg scored 11 points in the Gators 62-43 win over the Holmes County Central Jaguars. She is in her first year starting on the varsity level and is already making a positive impact on the team.

Teammates Shakora Knight and Layla Carter were right behind Colenburg in points as they each scored 10.

Last year, Colenburg was a member of Vicksburg High School girls freshman basketball team that went undefeated and won the Little Six Championship.

Colenburg and the Gators will be back in action Nov. 24 when they play Raymond High School.
