Vicksburg Fire Department honors retired Lt. Ricky Johnson after 22 years of service

Retired Lt. Ricky Johnson was honored in a brief ceremony at the Vicksburg Fire Department’s Central Fire Station at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23. Johnson retired June 30, 2020, after serving the community for over two decades.

The team that worked along side him for so many years took the opportunity to offer their congratulations and share stories of his knowledge and bravery. Johnson was humble as he accepted a framed plaque honoring his service.
